FCA Character Coach Training
with Roger Lipe
A Character Coach is a volunteer who serves a high school or college team by providing mental, emotional, and spiritual support to both coaches and athletes. They go through the school district volunteer requirements and attend a percentage of practices/games. Their main goal is to build healthy relationships with coaches and athletes and be a light to the team.

About the Speaker
Roger Lipe has worked with coaches and athletes in professional, university, and high school sports since 1994. He has served as a team chaplain and character coach over the years. He is inspirational and motivational.
Roger will share how to:
- Build relationships with the athletes you serve and their families
- Identify practical ways to support your coaches, caring for their heart, mind, and soul
- Administer care in times of crisis
- Support athletes through unique mental health challenges
